On Scale, traffic keeps flowing past 500K and overage is metered at $0.40 per 1,000 requests up to your spend cap ($500 by default), with alerts on the way; past the cap, requests return 429 until you raise it. On Enterprise, the ceiling is set by your contract. Overage and pay-as-you-go are available on monthly billing; annual plans stop at their monthly allowance.
